Around 2017, the Lempuyang Luhur temple began to be visited by tourists and became the most visited tourist spot in East Bali. Lempuyang Luhur Temple offers stunning natural panoramas and is famous as “Gate Of Heaven”.

Lempuyang Luhur Temple

Lempuyang Luhur Temple is one of the sacred temples of Balinese Hindus which is located in East Bali, precisely on the slopes of Mount Lempuyang, Karangasem Regency. Lempuyang Temple is located at an altitude of 1,175 meters above sea level. With a stunning panoramic backdrop of Mount Agung, apart from being a holy place, the Sad Kahyangan Lempuyang Luhur Temple has its own uniqueness such as its natural purity, especially the forest area suitable to be the lungs of the Island of the Gods.

Lempuyang Temple began to be visited by many tourists since 2017. Because it is located at a height with a gate overlooking Mount Agung, Lempuyang Temple is known as the “Gate of Heaven”.

Tirta Gangga Water Park

Tirta Gangga Water Park is located in Ababi Village, Abang District, Karangasem Regency, a district in East Bali. In the past, Tirta Gangga was a water park owned by the Karangasem Kingdom and built by Raja Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem Agung in 1946. The name Tirta Gangga comes from the word Tirta which means water and the word Gangga comes from a holy river in India.

Tirta Gangga Water Park was built on 1.2 hectares of land surrounded by green rice fields. The atmosphere around Tirta Gangga is very cool because of its location at the foot of Mount Agung with a beautiful panorama, so you feel comfortable staying in this place for a long time. As soon as you enter the main gate, visitors will be greeted by a row of statues like soldiers guarding this place. Visitors to Tirta Gangga can explore the ponds here on our walk, while seeing a variety of colorful fish that beautify the existence of the pond.

Kanto Lampo Waterfall

Kanto Lampo Waterfall is a waterfall located on Jl. Kaliasem Kelod Kangin neighborhood, Beng Village, Gianyar District, Gianyar Regency. Kanto Lampo Waterfall offers a beautiful and refreshing atmosphere with the accompaniment of gurgling water that feels calming. Getting to the location of the waterfall is not that difficult, because it is located in the lowlands. The unique thing about the Kanto Lampo waterfall is that it has a waterfall with a height of around 15 meters.

Kanto Lampo Waterfall is not like waterfalls in general, here the water that falls will spread evenly to the sides so that it looks like a colored maze against the blackened rock background. This view is very unique and amazing if you can feel this splendor. Apart from visiting to see the beauty of the Kanto Lampo waterfall, visitors can also swim to feel the fresh water in Kanto Lampo.
