Ubud Waterfall Tour Visiting

The tourist attractions visited on the Ubud Waterfall Tour are:

Kanto Lampo Waterfall

Kanto Lampo Waterfall is a multi-tiered waterfall located in Beng Village, Gianyar District, Gianyar Regency, Bali. The waterfall stands approximately 15 metres tall and is renowned for its unique terraced rock formations, resembling natural steps, which create a beautiful and Instagram-worthy curtain of water.

The main attraction is the tiered structure of the waterfall and its stepped rock formations, allowing visitors to climb the rocks while being sprayed by the falling water. There is also a natural pool with clear water at the base of the waterfall, perfect for swimming and playing in the water.

The waterfall is easily accessible, not located in high mountainous areas but in lowlands, with a journey of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali. To reach the waterfall from the parking area, visitors must walk along a descending path through a dense forest of trees.

In addition to being a tourist destination, Kanto Lampo Waterfall has spiritual and cultural value for the local community. This place is considered sacred and is often used in traditional Balinese Hindu ceremonies to collect holy water, an activity known as Mendak Toya Ning (searching for holy water).

Monkey Forest Ubud

Monkey Forest Ubud, also known as Mandala Suci Wenara Wana, is a nature reserve and temple complex located in Padangtegal Village, Ubud, Bali. This area is a protected forest covering approximately 12-12.5 hectares, home to more than 1,200 long-tailed macaques (Macaca fascicularis), which live in several different groups within the area.

Historically, Monkey Forest Ubud has existed since the 14th century and is considered a sacred site with spiritual power. The monkeys here are regarded as sacred animals and temple guardians, symbolising protection from evil according to the beliefs of the Balinese Hindu community.

Monkey Forest is not only a tourist destination with the main attraction being direct interaction with friendly and playful monkeys, but also an important conservation area with around 186 different tree species and lush rainforest, providing a cool and calming natural atmosphere.

Ubud Palace

Ubud Palace, also known as Puri Saren Agung, was once the official residence of the Ubud royal family and was built in the early 19th century by King Ida Tjokorda Putu Kandel, who ruled from around 1800 to 1823. Puri Saren Agung served not only as a residence for the nobility, but also as a centre of government, spiritual activities, and the development of arts and culture in the Ubud region.

This palace features beautiful traditional Balinese architecture and consists of several well-preserved traditional houses. Within the complex, there is a wantilan (auditorium) used as a meeting hall and a banyan tree providing natural shade. Puri Saren Agung serves as the centre of artistic and cultural life in Ubud, while in front of it lies a traditional art market symbolising the local economy. The palace’s proximity to the market reflects the harmonious interplay between royal life and the local community.

Tegalalang Rice Terrace

Tegalalang Rice Terrace is a unique blend of Bali’s traditional agricultural heritage and natural beauty, illustrating Bali’s philosophy of sustainable living in harmony with the environment. The complex subak and terraced system makes these rice fields not only a source of food production, but also a valuable world cultural heritage site.

Coffee Plantation

Coffee plantation agrotourism in Bali is a tourist destination that combines coffee farming activities with educational and recreational experiences in the great outdoors. At this agrotourism site, visitors can see firsthand the process of planting, harvesting, and processing coffee, including Bali’s unique luwak coffee, while enjoying the cool and beautiful natural scenery.
